Your last search (town or postcode, day, tee window, radius), your saved courses, the motion switch, and a sign-in token if you sign in. All of it sits in your browser’s storage, not in cookies, and clearing site data removes it.

With an account

Your name, email, and whatever you add: phone, home town, level, handicap, saved courses, the rounds you record, an avatar you generate, games you post or join. Your email is never shown to other golfers; accepting a game request shares your name, email and phone with that player only. A lesson request sends your name, email, phone, level and goal to that coach or caddie only. Sign-in links work once, for 30 minutes; sessions last 90 days. Passwords are stored hashed. Email us to delete an account.

Third parties

• Open-Meteo receives the coordinates of the courses and the place you search, for the forecast.
• postcodes.io and Open-Meteo’s geocoder receive the postcode or town you type, or your coordinates if you tap Use my location.
• Windy.com loads a map only when you open one, on a course or weather page.
• A club’s booking page is read by our server on your request (identified as Golf Metric) or framed on the course page when you ask to view tee times; their own privacy terms apply on their page.

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies. Your device location is asked for only when you tap Use my location and is rounded to about a kilometre before it appears in a shareable link.
